Business owners burn out too! My Burnout Audit identifies your own level of burnout and helps us work out what it is that’s actually driving it. It’s ideal for business owners, founders and entrepreneurs who are wondering if what they are feeling (or not feeling) is actually burnout, and what the visibility demands that come with running a business are contributing.
Burnout is rarely sudden. It develops over time through patterns of workload, leadership behaviour, communication, personal traits, and cultural expectations to be constantly on by posting, promoting, commenting and showing up.
It’s also quite difficult to spot and recover from, on your own.
Why you should take this seriously now
Once you’ve burnt out, you’re susceptible to burning out again unless things change. Rest on its own is not usually enough. You need to understand what’s actually driving it first.
What is the burnout audit?
A focused 90-minute session, one to one with me, either online or in person (Folkestone or Canterbury). We work through an assessment to determine your level of burnout, the risks that may be making you susceptible, such as people-pleasing behaviour or an inability to switch off from visibility demands. We also look at your existing protective factors.
If it’s not burnout, something must be going on for you to considering it, so we check in on the alternatives too.
As a business psychologist, I bring both an individual and organisational lens to the conversation. I’ve also lived through this myself, in my last few years as founder of my own PR and marketing company.
You’ll leave the session with real clarity — what’s going on, why, and a clear next step, whether that’s simply naming it, or exploring further support.
