YOUR VISIBILITY GUIDE, PAULA GARDNER

Your Visibility Guide, Paula Gardner

Your guide, Paula Gardner, therapist for business ownersLike many of you, I’ve experienced the sheer exhilaration of having passion for a business I’ve built up from the ground. That business was my own PR and marketing company which I ran from 2002 until 2016. I’ve had hundreds of business owners going through my PR mentoring programme, and two books published, Get Noticed and Do Your Own PR. I’ve also spoken at conferences around the world on the subject of raising your profile.

However, I’ve also experienced the flipside of raising your profile and building visibility. This included overworking, worrying and feeling the impact on both my creativity and my energy. Like many of my clients, I’ve also had toxic experiences with trolls and people determined to disrupt and disturb.

Raising your profile, sustainably

In the end, I decided to bring in a more psychological approach to help business owners and professionals find a sustainable approach to raising their profile.  It took me a good few years of further training and honing my approach, but I became a business psychologist, with a Masters degree from UEL, trained as a coach with the ICF accredited Animus, and qualifed as a psychotherapist with The Human Givens Institute. Which means to say, you’re in safe hands.

I have used my own experiences, together with evidence based psychological and therapeutic tools and learning, to create the Scarlet Thinking model.

I am committed to identifying practical tools and approaches that have been proven to be effective, and I make it my job to understand my clients so that I can choose the best approach for them, their personality and lifestyle.
