You can be successful and still find yourself stuck in patterns that aren’t serving you anymore.
Perhaps you’re constantly overthinking decisions. You’re struggling to switch off. Perfectionism is slowing you down. You’re procrastinating on something important, finding it difficult to delegate, or wondering why something that used to work for you suddenly doesn’t.
These patterns aren’t necessarily weaknesses. Often, they’re strategies that have helped you get where you are.
But what helps you succeed at one stage of your life can sometimes hinder you at the next.
How I work
I am a fully qualified therapist and business psychologist for leaders, founders, and entrepreneurs and who are carrying significant responsibility and want somewhere to think honestly, without having to perform.
My approach draws on Human Givens therapy, whose practical, evidence-based approach appeals to many in business. This is alongside my experience of working with hundreds of people through periods of pressure, uncertainty and transition, as well as over a decade of running my own PR and marketing company.
Therapy with me is practical, psychologically informed and focused on what will make a meaningful difference.
Stuck?
You don’t need a diagnosis or a breakdown to come to therapy. Sometimes the reason to seek help is simply that something isn’t working as well as it should.
Practicalities
Sessions are available online, with face-to-face also available in Folkestone, Kent. I do offer early mornings and some Saturdays.
60 minutes — £160 90 minutes — £240
Some people come for a specific issue and need only a relatively small number of sessions. Others prefer to use therapy as a space to think, reflect and maintain perspective while navigating a demanding life. There is no prescribed number of sessions.
If you’re not sure if it’s therapy you want, but are concerned that you may be experiencing burnout, I do offer burnout audits, which offer practical easy to implement suggestions as well as giving you a taste of working with me.
Occasionally, I work with business owners whose feelings of anxiety or exhaustion are linked to visibility and the constant need to promote yourself. If this is more the case, then my visibility coaching may be more useful.
