Your Visibility Guide, Paula Gardner
Like many of you, I’ve experienced the sheer exhilaration of having passion for a business I’ve built up from the ground. That business was my own PR and marketing company which I ran from 2002 until 2016. I’ve had hundreds of business owners going through my PR mentoring programme, and two books published, Get Noticed and Do Your Own PR. I’ve also spoken at conferences around the world on the subject of raising your profile.
However, I’ve also experienced the flipside of raising your profile and building visibility. This included overworking, worrying and feeling the impact on both my creativity and my energy. Like many of my clients, I’ve also had toxic experiences with trolls and people determined to disrupt and disturb.
In the end, I decided to bring in a more psychological approach to help business owners with their mental health as well as their visibility. After a Masters in business psychology, coaching, and qualifying as a psychotherapist I now work with other business owners who want to build their profile, but in a way that supports their wellbeing.
My process to help you get off the visbility treadmill
I have used my own experiences, together with evidence based psychological and therapeutic tools and learning, to create the Scarlet Thinking model. This takes you through:

Most business owners fall back in love with their visibility goals after working with me. Some even find their business and life considerably changed by the tweaks they make. My clients feel calmer, more in balanced, more energised and more able to make decisions. What’s more, they see the tangible results in their analytics, profile, enquiries and bottom line.
