Ex-PR Company owner, business psychologist, and psychotherapist
Hello! My name is Paula Gardner. As a business owner who has been through stress, overwhelm and even burnout, I understand the struggles of growing and running a business. However, perhaps those struggles are feeling a bit much for you right now?
If you’re looking for a therapist or wellbeing supprt for your business, here’s something about me to help you see if we might make a good match…
I have been working with business owners for over 25 years. Yep, that’s even before the dawn of Facebook
I have run my own PR and marketing company and get the struggles around money and the anxieties around bringing in the business
Qualification-wise, I am a business psychologist, an executive coach and a psychotherapist, trained with the Human Givens Institute.
I love business, whether it’s helping a start-up founder work on their fears around being visible, or helping an employer cope with the stresses of managing staff
I am warm and practical. We’ll get good work done in our sessions, but we will also laugh at times
My approach means that it’s equally suitable for someone who wants to focus on improving one issue, as helping those who want to change and grow at a deep level
Practicalities around therapy as a business owner
Most of my therapy work is online, via Zoom. However, I do see therapy clients in Hythe and Folkestone, and also offer corporate work which includes workshops, coaching, programmes and consulting.

My work is informed by 15 years as the owner of a PR and marketing company, and then mentor for the PRCA. I also offer visibility coaching from a sustainability angle, helping you raise your profile without sacrificing your wellbeing.
