I’m a business psychologist and coach, with a previous background running my own PR agency for over 15 years. My approach is to pick and choose whatever tools may be needed for the job, whether that may be playing around with a non-dominant hand exercise to encourage a coaching client to do some creative thinking around how they can grow their business, or sharing the benefit of some of my contacts to help a leader raise their profile within their industry.
I named my agency because my mission is to get you thinking in new ways.
This is where I can let loose with my creativity. I have created a whole leadership experience based around one medieval family in Verona. My Signature coaching programme for PR, Media and Tech company owners asks how you can create a fairy-godmother firm in an industry that is Wicked? My workshops have been deliberately designed to be as different from what else is out there as possible.
I encourage people to look at their decision making patterns, and often use psychometrics to help people gain a better understanding of themselves and how that may be impacting the way they are reacting to the world around them.
Of course, that also applies to me, and I keep my up CPD regularly by attending psychology lectures, business talks and consistently growing my skill-set. I am passionate about being in the Growth mindset, and most of my clients feel the same way.
I’m the author of two books, Do Your Own PR and Get Noticed, and mentor for PR apprentices with the PRCA. I was also on the advisory board of a women’s business club for three years and volunteered as a career mentor with the charity Second Chance. I’m also the mother of three children, two of them now in their twenties, and two cats, Simba and Bamboo. In my spare time I love playing poker (it’s that psychology again) and am learning Bridge. I’m in a love affair with Italy and occasionally run retreats in beautiful Italian cities like Verona.
If you would like to chat through how we could work together, please do get in touch with me.
